Education that works
Today, Nova Scotia Community College graduates
work in 40 of the 50 fastest growing occupations in
Nova Scotia, building their careers, while helping to
build Nova Scotia's future.
Prospective students can share in the success they're
enjoying by joining the college's more than 25,000
full- and part-time students and choosing any of the
100+ challenging programs offered by NSCC's five
academic schools: the NSCC School of Applied Arts
and New Media, the NSCC School of Business, the
NSCC School of Health and Human Services, the
NSCC School of Trades and Technology and the
NSCC School of Access.
Affordable education
NSCC works hard to keep its tuition fees lower
than most other post-secondary schools in Canada,
while at the same time maintaining the high standards
industry demands, and developing part-time studies
for those who want to pursue their education while
continuing to work.
With 13 campuses and five community learning
centres in Nova Scotia, NSCC is pervasive throughout
the province, and offers programs designed to
help students meet their academic and career goals.
NSCC Online Learning delivers courses right to
students' desktops.
Jobs Students want
NSCC equips its students with the skills
needed to succeed in growing career fields such
as health sciences, digital multimedia, hospitality,
business and the skilled trades.
NSCC tracks the success of its graduates to
ensure the college's programming is meeting the
needs of industry. In fact, 91 per cent of NSCC
graduates are employed, most in jobs relating to
their field of study.
